Zanonia Flyers

Zanonia refers to the seed capable of gliding great distances from its tree.  It was the inspiration for the wing planform of the early 20th Century Taube (dove) not birds as is commonly believed.

1/2A Stabiloplan

From the fertile building board of Eut Tileston comes this Stabiloplan for 1/2A Scale.

Carstens has their own plan.

It looked like it would be OK but I only had full span elevons (no rudder) and I lost control on the first flight. I may repair it sometime and add a rudder.

Reduced Borysko as seen in Flying Models Magazine

Bottom of the center: the T.E. was a small wedge shaped balsa with a wider sheet on the top.

original was a mid-wing, I made a mistake, but since my plan had been approved before I discovered it I let it go.
