The latest project from the Boice Model Ranch in Xenia: A multi-
engine, portable test stand. The top is a hard maple cutting board
and has been coated with Klass Kote Epoxy for fuel proofing; it
has a clear central area for ignition units. Around the perimeter
are various mounts, most are commercially produced but a custom
aluminum one from the late great Bucky Walter accommodates
Orwicks. The bottom shelf adds rigidity and accepts weights in 5
gallon buckets. With three legs, every surface is effectively a
single plane. Lockable wheels keep it from escaping the testing
area.
